This is a great dressing for both salads and steamed vegetables. The avocado gives the dressing a creamy texture, not to mention the good fats it provides us, and the tobassco sauce adds a nice little kick.
1 ripe avocado, peeled and stone removed
1 small handful of washed basil leaves
1 clove garlic, crushed
6 Tbs olive oil
Juice from 1/2 lemon
Ground black pepper
Few drops Tobassco sauce
1. Put all of the ingredients in a mini food processor or blender and purée until smooth.
2. Add a few drops of water at a time and whizz if you like a thinner dressing.
